E-ZBorrow/ILL

E-ZBorrow

New York University participates in the E-ZBorrow service hosted by PALCI (the Pennsylvania Academic Library Consortium, Inc.). E-ZBorrow gives NYU users easy access to the holdings of nearly 70 academic libraries in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and West Virginia. Patrons based at ISAW may have materials requested through E-ZBorrow delivered directly to the ISAW Library. E-ZBorrow items usually take 3-5 days to arrive at ISAW and the loan period is 12 weeks.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Books and journals not held by NYU can be requested from other libraries through interlibrary loan (ILL). Patrons based at ISAW may have interlibrary loan requests (which can include electronic scans) delivered directly to the ISAW Library. The loan period for ILL material is determined by the lending library. Lending libraries can also restrict the holding location of the material ("library use only") and your ability to renew the item. The most common loan period is 3-4 weeks.

To make an Interlibrary Loan request, complete the ILL request form here.
