Inscribed Brick

A square gray-brown brick chipped in the top right corner. There is a rectangular stamp with three lines of cuneiform writing in the center, slightly toward the top. There is an additional engraved alphabetic marking at top, slightly right of center. The brick is mounted on a white base with the following text: "[90136] Brick inscribed with the name and titles of Nebuchadnezzar II, King of Babylon, B.C. 604–561. From Babylon.
