New Exhibitions Team Member: Joanna Salicki, Exhibitions Registrar and Installations Manager

Joanna Salicki joined the ISAW exhibitions team as the Exhibitions Registrar and Installations Manager in August 2016 where she oversees the logistics for two annual exhibitions. Prior to her current position, she was a registrar at Matthew Marks Gallery for over five years. 

Joanna has a BA from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in Anthropology and a MA from New York University in Museum Studies with a focus on registration and collections management. Her thesis explored the presentation approaches and exhibition themes of open air museums in Poland. She has participated in field projects including the North Orkney Population History Project, Orkney Islands, Scotland and the Ecomuseo Cap de Cavalleria Archaeology Field School, Menorca, Spain. During her graduate studies, she gained collection management experience at the American Museum of Natural History and Villa La Pietra, NYU and worked in exhibitions at Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty National Monument.
