Future Features
Portal for Data Input
A portal for submitting textual data of dates that may not yet be in Shanati's database. Guidelines for data formatting will be provided. Newly added data is subject to moderation by Shanati's team. The database will include an automated function for updating its results based on newly input data.
➥ Unspecified future time. Currently, data can be added to Shanati's database via script by Shanati's team.
If you have a newly published or databased group of ancient texts with Babylonian dates and would like your data to be added to Shanati's database, please contact David Danzig at dd66@nyu.edu.
Advanced Search for Researchers
An advanced search that will give outputs of any specified stretch of the chronology and access to the complete trail of evidence for any specific date conversion. Various pre-programmed, advanced searches of Shanati's data for research involving specific chronological data will also be available. Data will be downloadable in JSON and CSV.
➥ Unspecified future time.
