Recently Added Titles to AWDL
A goal of the library this year is the continuous addition of titles to the Ancient World Digital Library (AWDL), along with general site updates. In January we added eight titles that include works in papyrology, assyriology, and classical antiquity, several of which are part of the Transactions of the American Philosophical Society series:
- Greek Papyri in the British Museum volumes 1-3
- Kevin Clinton, The sacred officials of the Eleusinian Mysteries 1974 by the American Philosophical Society, v.64 pt. 3
- Asger Aaboe, Saros cycle dates and related Babylonian astronomical texts, Transactions of the American Philosophical Society, v. 81, pt. 6
- Alexander Jones, Ptolemy's first commentator Transactions of the American Philosophical Society, v. 80, pt. 7
- Gerrit Bos, M. R. (Michael Rogers) McVaugh, Joseph Shatzmiller, Transmitting a text through three languages: the future history of Galen's Peri anomalou dyskrasias,Transactions of the American Philosophical Society, v. 104, pt. 5
- Nicholas F. Jones, Public organization in ancient Greece: a documentary study, Memoirs of the American Philosophical Society, v. 176
As always, content in AWDL is freely available to read online in full resolution, and can be download in either high- or low-resolution PDF format. In addition to searching for titles, you can also browse for topics under the “Collections Overview” tab; or look at individual series in the “Series” tab.
