A list of books added to the ISAW Library in October 2015 is now available online both on the ISAW Library website and our Zotero library of new items. The titles are sorted in the website version according to thematic topics (e.g., "East Asia" and "Ancient Near East & Asia Minor"); and within each topic, the titles are organized according to Library of Congress classification. The authors and titles of works in non-Roman languages in their original script.

This month's new titles include further texts from the Ancient Near East from the collection of Prof. Robert D. Biggs of the Oriental Institute of Chicago and journals on Mesopotamia and the Levant from the library of Hayim and Miriam Tadmor. The latter include significant runs of the Journal of Cuneiform Studies and the Israel Exploration Journal. Also of note in our new titles from October is a large collection of works on Gallic antiquities from Éditions Monique Mergoil from their series Archéologie des plantes et des animaux, Monographies instrumentum, and Archéologie et histoire romaine. These titles include works on zooarchaeology, ancient technology, metallurgy, weaponry, and the material culture of numerous sites in Western Europe from the pre-Roman and Roman periods. These titles are held in few American libraries, making them particularly pertinent additions to the ISAW collection.
