New ISAW Library Titles: November 2015

A list of books added to the ISAW Library in November 2015 is now available online both on the ISAW Library Website and in a Zotero library. The titles are sorted in the website version according to thematic topics (e.g., "East Asia" and "Ancient Near East & Asia Minor"); and within each topic, the titles are organized according to Library of Congress classification. The authors and titles of works in non-Roman languages in their original script.

Included in the 143 titles added this month are a variety of works on classics and archaeological methodology from the library of Jocelyn Penny Small, Professor Emerita in the Department of Art History at Rutgers and an ISAW Research Associate. Prof. Small was Director of the U.S. Center of the Lexicon Iconographicum Mythologiae Classicae for over 20 years, and has made valuable contributions to the field of Etruscan studies.

November's new titles also include a large number of journals on Mesopotamian and Levantine antiquities from the library of Hayim and Miriam Tadmor. In addition to runs of important journals like Nouvelles assyriologiques brèves et utilitaires : N.A.B.U. (Oak Collection: DS69.5 .N68) and The quarterly of the Department of Antiquities in Palestine (Oak Collection: DS111.A1 A3), the Tadmor Collection also contains editions of scarce and short-lived journals like Interdisciplinary Bible Scholar: IBS (Oak Collection: BS410 .I58) and Travaux et recherches en Turquie (Oak Collection: DS155 .T738).
