New Exhibitions Team Member: Gretchen Kodanaz, Senior Exhibitions Associate

Gretchen Kodanaz joined ISAW as the Senior Exhibitions Associate in June 2016. As a member of the exhibitions team, she helps manage the planning of two exhibitions annually as well as organizes the corresponding public programming events each semester.

Prior to joining ISAW, Gretchen worked as an administrator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art focusing on collections planning and collection safety policies. Prior to that role, she served as an administrator at Christie’s working with the estates and appraisals team. Gretchen holds a BA from Syracuse University in Art History and a MA from New York University in Interdisciplinary Humanities, specifically contemporary art history and exhibition management. Her thesis focused on the implications of participatory art on the audience experience and the institution.
