New ISAW Library Titles: January 2015

The ISAW Library team is back from an end-of-term hiatus and we are ready to get blogging again!

A list of books added to the ISAW Library in January 2015 is now available online both on the ISAW Library website and our Zotero library of new items

January saw significant additions to the ISAW collection from the libraries of Natasha Eilenberg (Southeast Asia) and Miriam and Hayim Tadmor (Assyriology and Biblical Studies). We also added many Chinese and Farsi titles on ancient China and Persia, respectively. A particularly interesting addition to our shelves was this wonderful catalog put out by the Instanbul Archaeological Museum, Stories from the hidden harbor: shipwrecks of Yenikapı, which illustrates and discusses the shipwrecks (37 at last count) discovered in the city's late antique harbor since 2004, as well as the incredible finds associated with them.

As always, the titles added to the ISAW Library for the entire 2014-2015 academic year may be found both on our website and in our Zotero library.

If you have any comments or suggestions about our recent acquisitions or the associated Zotero library, please feel free to contact us. Until then, follow our progress on Facebook and Twitter.
