ISAW Professor Dan Potts elected as Corresponding Fellow of the British Academy

On Thursday, July 21, Prof. Dan Potts was elected a Corresponding Fellow of the British Academy. This year the Academy elected 85 new Fellows, 52 from universities in the UK and 29 from abroad, as well as 4 Honorary Fellows. Prof. Potts joins over 1600 Fellows who currently make up the British Academy. Established by the Royal Charter in 1902, the British Academy this year celebrates its 120th anniversary. Election to a Corresponding Fellowship is the highest honor that the British Academy confers on non-UK residents in recognition of scholarly distinction in the humanities and social sciences.
