ISAW Exhibitions Team Researches Upcoming Exhibition, "Restoring the Minoans: Sir Arthur Evans and Elizabeth Price"

Exhibition planning begins far before an opening date. In November of this year, Jennifer Chi, Exhibitions Director and Chief Curator, and Rachel Herschman, Curatorial Assistant, visited the Ashmolean Museum at the University of Oxford, to continue research on our fall 2017 exhibition Restoring the Minoans: Sir Arthur Evans and Elizabeth Price. Here Rachel works with Anja Ulbrich, Interim Curator of the Aegean Collection, at the Ashmolean Museum, on examining a small terracotta figurine.  The show includes contemporary, modern, archival and ancient material and we look forward to seeing you in our galleries for this innovative exhibition.
