ISAW Alumnus Sam Mirelman Receives 4 Year Research Grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation

Sam Mirelman, who is currently a full-time lecturer in Assyriology at SOAS (University of London), has been granted a 4-year research grant by the Swiss National Science Foundation. The research position will be hosted at the University of Geneva, starting from September 2022. The title of the research project is "The Dawn of Translation: Sumerian-Akkadian Literary Bilingualism in the Old Babylonian Period (2000-1600 BC)."
