A list of books added to the ISAW Library in May 2015 is now available online both on the ISAW Library website and our Zotero library of new items. The titles are sorted in the website version according to thematic topics (e.g., "East Asia" and "Ancient Near East & Asia Minor"); and within each topic, the titles are organized according to Library of Congress classification.

Asia Minor is well represented among the 315 new titles for May, with over a dozen monographs on the Hittites, Hurrians, and Urartians. These include titles both new (Petra Goedegebuure's The Hittite Demonstratives, Ref4 P945 .S65 Bd.55 2014; Prehistoric Economics of Anatolia, edited by Celine Wawruschka, Large Collection GN799.E4 P74 2014) and old (L.A. Meyer's Index of Hittite Names, Large Collection G107 .M3 1923; William Wright's Hittites Up to Date, Small Collection DS66 .W75 1892).

East Asia is another major strength of the new titles added in May, thanks in large part to the addition of a number of books from the collection of Prof. Edward Shaughnessy.

And the library's holdings of materials on the Ancient Near East continued to grow this month, as we continued to add materials from the collection of Hayim and Miriam Tadmor. Among the Mesopotamian texts added this month are essential publications by scholars like Ignace Gelb, Albrecht Goetze, and A.K. Grayson.

As always, the titles added to the ISAW Library for the entire 2014-2015 academic year may be found both on our website and in our Zotero library.
