Student Housing
Most ISAW students live off campus in apartments in Manhattan, Queens, or Brooklyn. The NYU GSAS website provides useful information for students about how to find an off-campus apartment in New York. NYU also has several on-campus housing options available to graduate students.
On a limited basis, ISAW may be able to serve as a lease guarantor for students who are not able to meet a landlord's credit or other eligibility requirements for an apartment.
In addition, ISAW has recently initiated a housing program for new students; on a limited basis, ISAW is able to arrange reasonably priced housing for incoming first-year students in a shared apartment near Columbus Circle in Manhattan.
