Library Course Reserves
Books
The ISAW Library will place books from its own collection and from the Bobst collection on reserve here at ISAW. Instructors may submit a request by completing the ISAW Course Reserves Form.
Note: Only complete forms will be processed.
If a requested item is already checked out to that individual patron’s account, the book must be returned to Bobst for processing before it can be placed on reserve. Please allow extra time for transit and processing these types of requests.
Books from Bobst non-circulating collections (including reference collections) and books needed for course reserves at Bobst cannot be placed on Reserve at ISAW.
Photocopies
Photocopies of articles or book chapters can be put on Print Reserve if instructors provide clean, legible copies to the library in compliance with NYU policies and guidelines on copyright and fair use.
Submission Deadlines
Forms submitted by these deadlines will be processed for the start of classes:
- Fall Semester must be submitted by August 1st
- Spring Semester must be submitted by December 15th
Limits
Students are not permitted to remove Bobst items that are on Reserve at ISAW from the building.
Items that are on Reserve must be checked out using the circulation card, which is to be left on the Reserves shelf. Instructors are expected to use the card system when removing items from the ISAW Course Reserves area.
If you have questions, see or email Gabriel McKee in the library.
