Small Vase

The Latin inscription, which was incised on the neck of the vase, reads:

MERCVRIO SACR MAXVMINVS CARATINI FI DSD

Translation: Sacred to Mercury, Maxuminus, the son of Caratinus, gave this from his own resources.
