Hydria: Chorus, Flute Players and Dancers

A tapered, shouldered ceramic vessel with two handles and narrow neck, glazed in black, orange, and red. A central panel depicts bearded soldiers. The shoulder depicts a row of four dancers, each with a raised leg, facing the flute player. Two of the dancers are clearly female; the other two appear to be male figures wearing women's clothing and animal ears.
