Taylor McBride joined the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World as the Publications and Interpretive Manager in April 2022. She oversees the production of all exhibition catalogues and didactics for the Institute's exhibition programs. Prior to her role at ISAW, she was an Assistant Editor for Wine Spectator magazine in New York.
She received her BA at NYU's School of Global Liberal Studies, focusing on Contemporary Culture and Creative Production. Her work led to several museum positions at organizations such as the Studio Museum in Harlem, the Whitney Museum for American Art, and MAK Vienna's Center for Art and Architecture in her native home of Los Angeles.
