 copper\, lead\, and tin\, the primary elements of bronze alloy in Bron
 ze-Age China. Chinese archaeologists and archaeometallurgists have imp
 ressively reconstructed the chaînes opératoires of miners and metalw
 orkers\, however\, there have been few attempts to investigate the liv
 es of miners and the mining community.
