- [First posted in AWOL 27 April 2012. Updated (new location) 11 October 2013]. Archaeological report comprising the work of the Egypt Exploration Fund and the progress of egyptology. Die von 1892 bis 1912 erschienene Zeitschrift berichtet von den Grabungsergebnissen des „Egypt Exploration Fund" (EEF) der 1882 von Amelia Edwards (1831-1892) gegründet wurde, und der Finanzierung britischer Forschungen in Ägypten gewidmet war (und ist). 1919 änderte die Stiftung ihren Namen in „Egypt Exploration Society". Seit 1914 ist das Publikationsorgan der Gesellschaft das „Journal of Egyptian Archaeology" (JEA), einer der renommiertesten englischen Zeitschriften für die Ägyptologie.
