Human Resources & Benefits

NYU uses PeopleSync to track all Human Resources information. Each employee can see his/her information on NYU Global Home in the Work tab, under PeopleSync.

Full-time NYU employees are eligible for a number of benefit programs. A summary of resources is at HR@Your ServiceFor information about employee benefits, please visit the NYU Benefits website.

New employees can a meeting with a Benefits Specialist to understand their options and can enroll in an insurance program within 30 days of their date of hire or during Open Enrollment (in the fall of each year and effective 1 January the following year). Please note that 1-year ISAW Scholars qualify for benefits as Researchers and 2-year Visiting Assistant Professors qualify for benefits as Faculty.

NYU employees are eligible for Short Term Global Health Insurance and Business Travel Insurance when traveling on official NYU business (excluding personal travel). Registration is required and some services may generate a fee that will be the responsibility of the traveler. Visit the NYU Traveler Insurance page for more information.
